Platform Capabilities (Local)

When running the mobile sandbox (playground/mobile-sandbox) locally, there is no real mobile banking platform. The mobile harness (@cdx-extensions/di-sdk-mobile) provides all platform capabilities through mock data and simulated behaviour — the same harness used for mobile widgets.

For prerequisites, setup, the capabilities diagram, mock data files, branding, and local development commands, see Mobile Widgets — Platform Capabilities (Local).

Feature-specific notes

Mobile features use the same SDK hooks (useUserContext, useBranding, getHttpClient) as widgets. Map branding tokens from sdk.useBranding() to React Native StyleSheet values — do not use MUI or CSS theme objects.

When you run playground/mobile-sandbox locally, verify your feature under different institution brandings using the sandbox gear icon before submitting.

For method signatures, parameters, return types, and code examples, see SDK Reference.

Local build targets

Each mobile feature defines three Nx targets:

TargetCommandDescription
buildpnpm exec nx run <name>:buildProduction build with tsup (CJS + ESM + .d.ts)
devpnpm exec nx run <name>:devWatch mode for development
typecheckpnpm exec nx run <name>:typecheckTypeScript type checking (no emit)

Example feature build:

Bash
pnpm exec nx run agent-feature:build
